In days gone by, Rag Rugs were a traditional part of the decoration in most working boats. Made by the families who lived aboard their boats, they were not only decorative but provided warmth and collected dust too!
Airedale Cruising now offers hand-made traditional Rag Rugs for sale or on commission (cost depends on size). Please have a look at our existing designs below - or contact us to discuss having your own design made into a rug. Maybe you'd even like to supply some of the materials? This is a great way to recycle a favourite old shirt, or give some old curtains or tablecloth a new lease of life!
