Narrowboat Lizzie-Jean  is a traditional style 57ft narrowboat, built in 2005.  Lovingly fitted out by  skipper David Fitch she has all the facilities of a modern home. But this floating home can move to any part of the UK canal network - and maybe one day even to France (see Links).

She has travelled much of  the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, following her maiden voyage which brought her from the Aire and Calder waterway, through Leeds City Centre and onto the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.  For Easter 2007 Lizzie-Jean visited York on the mighty River Ouse.  In 2008 she made a memorable cruise across the Pennines to Wigan and back again to her current moorings near Skipton.  In Autumn 2009 she made a voyage south to Leeds and then on to Castleford, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Sowerby Bridge, and onto the Rochdale Canal as far as Hebden Bridge.
